Cavorting with Chaos
Male Hill Dwarf Druid of 6th level
Hill Dwarves are known for their craftsmanship of both stone and wood. However, while it is tradition to stay and continue the families trade and position, Je’s’pre’ was never comfortable taking from the trees for anything. Unless the trees gave of themselves on their own. This made his work very slow. While others in his clan would grab freshly cut wood and begin immediately working, Je’s’pre’ would scavenge the forest instead for fallen and free wood to use. This took time though and Je’s’pre’ wasn’t producing items as fast as the family felt was needed. They didn’t stop him from his passive ways, but they didn’t depend on him either. Soon, his brother next in line became father’s successor. Also, what the family didn’t know, is the bonds that were growing between him and the forest and its animals. Soon, the family wasn’t seeing any work from Je’s’pre’ at all. But he would always tell them he was out in the forest looking for the perfect hunk of wood for his next project. However, what they didn’t know, Je’s’pre’ had found a way to become the animals he was bonding with… learning what it was like to be amongst these precious spirits. He had become a Druid to the very forest his clan was taking from.
